Are you a single parent with huge dreams, but scared to even think about them? Do you live life that you are actually not 100% fulfilled? Here, you can find hacks and guidance, how The Law of Attraction can help you achieve anything you desire.

The law of attraction is quite controversial topic. It has a label of some black magic bullsh*t. However; if you desire a life change and you are open for trying new things, and learning more in your life, then law of attraction is definitely for you.

Story Of My Life….

As a 9 year old girl, I have read a book “The Power of Subconscious Mind” by Joseph Murphy. The book landed in my hands by accident. I remember, my parents were subscribing to a bookstore and each month we have received a book for free.

I was always into books. I remember, it was a hot summer time and all kids my age, were outside playing. I was sitting on my balcony, reading the book, which was getting interested page after page.

Not only books, but also sports activities (especially sprints) were my favourite things to do as a child. Before each race, I was repeating in my head, that I will win, I will be first. As a matter of fact, I always was first. I couldn’t figure out whether I was just faster than other kids, or I had something else in me.

Once I have read the book, I have realised that I was using my subconscious mind. With this in mind, I have decided to read the book again, very carefully, focusing on each chapter. That was the time, I started to use my subconscious mind daily. And let me tell you something – I always get in life what I want. For the most part, I am very simple and minimalistic person. As an illustration, I don’t need much to be happy; never was aiming for a villa with a swimming pool or 5 luxury cars on my driveway.

How The Law Of Attraction Actually Works?

It is very simple explanation. In short, we attract things into our life that we have visualised or imagined. Everything in our life takes place twice; firstly, it is created in our head, secondly, it happens in real life.

Did you know, that when we fall asleep, or first thing in the morning, when we wake up, we still use our subconscious mind mode?

Another interesting fact is that, 95% of our mind is subconscious mind and only 5% is conscious. Conscious mind does exactly what subconscious says. The only thing is that our subconscious mind are actually active for the fraction of the day where conscious mind operates for the rest of the day.

That is to say, if you sit down in front of the mirror, straight after waking up, and you repeat to yourself that you are great, successful, rich, healthy, happy etc, it will become real. I am not saying it will happen the same day. You need to program your mind, and by doing the above you will.

How Can You Practice The Law of Attraction

There is a number of ways you can practice The Law of Attraction:

  • Visualisation Board
  • The Focus Wheel
  • Dream Board
  • A “Future Me” Journal
  • Surround Yourself with People Who Think the Same Way
  • Practice an Act of Kindness
  • Read Positive Books
  • Meditate
  • Affirmations
  • Hypnotherapy

Therefore, I will focus on top 5 techniques I can swear by. They are extremely powerful and can change your life for good. I have tested them, tired of all them and I can see how my life shifted from stressful and busy into a simple, worry free experience.

1. Meditation

“You should sit in meditation for 20 minutes a day. Unless you’re too busy; then you should sit for one hour.” –
Old Zen Saying

When you meditate, your mind are calm and are put into state of subconscious mind. There are different types of meditation. For instance: active meditation, guided, body scan, silent and so on so forth. No matter which you would like to practice, the benefits are pretty much the same.

Important to realise, meditation allows you, to observe your thoughts, emotions, helps you focus and also allows you use your subconscious mind. During guided meditation, you can imagine yourself in your favourite place – place that brings warm and positive emotions in you, that makes you feel comfortable and happy.

2. Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is another great method of practising Law of Attraction. In fact, it is more powerful than meditation, as a professional therapies is helping you to go into deep, focused state. Hypnotherapy session or a number of sessions can be focused on a specific area of your life: love, relationship, work, motivation, health. Anything you would like to work on.

3. Visualization

This method is a good fun, and very simple. Straight after you wake up, or before you fall asleep, you can imagine (visualise) your perfect life. It is very important, that you focus on details. It doesn’t have to be during the first time you practice visualization. You can build it gradually.

If, for example you dream of a new house, you can imagine the land you have the house on, the floorplan, colours of your walls, furniture, kitcheen, details like a fireplace, windows, plants.

4. Vision Boards

Similar to visualisation, the idea of a vision board is to work on your imagination. The difference is, vision boards are not only in your head. You should keep your vision boards where you spend most of your time. It is also a good idea to have your vision board in front of your bed, so when you go to bed, just before you fall asleep, you can look at the board.

What elements should you have on your vision board? Depend on what you would like to achieve, print out, or use pictures from newspapers, that are related to your vision. Fitness or health vision board, would be full of fit, muscled, healthy people. If your biggest dream is to live wealthy life, then use pictures that are reflecting your future house, car, etc.

Affirmations can also help to achieve your desires. Print out your favourite affirmation on A4 and stick them all over your house.

5. Self-Talk

This one might feel odd in first place. Talking to yourself? In front of the mirror? Oh well, doesn’t matter how it looks like, as long as it works. Just make sure you use only positive words, sentences that will build your confidence. And I don’t mean, you need to be overconfident, but you need ti have enough confidence to believe in yourself.

The Final Word

Just because you are a single parent, doesn’t mean your future will have to be taught, full of stress and responsibilities. You can still have a perfect life, with plenty of achievements, happy moments, great memories. The Law of Attraction is the oldest method of attracting good things into your life. And I can guarantee you, if you use the above hacks, you will achieve anything you imagine.
