Are you looking for some inspiration for journaling prompts? In this post, I have listed journal prompts plus the reason why you should start running a journal.

Morning and evening journaling is one of the best self-care tools I have ever tried in my life. It helps you to build an intentional and full-of-purpose life. And most importantly, it doesn’t take long.

What are the benefits of daily journaling?

Did you know that daily journaling can help you achieve your goals, track progress and growth and become more confident?

Daily journaling has many benefits, especially for your mental health. It can help you manage anxiety and stress. And by doing so, you can become a happier and calmer person.

It is also an excellent tool for decluttering your mind and becoming more organised.

But that’s not all.

By practising daily journaling I managed to get to know myself even better. It gave me time to reflect on my emotions and feeling and behaviours. Plus by following the daily prompts you focus on one area where again, you have time to focus and reflect on yourself.

This post is all about journal prompts that you can use daily.

How to use journal prompts

Do you wonder how are you supposed to use prompts in your daily journaling? The instruction is very simple. All you need to do is to pick one of the below topics and write about it as much as you want. Let’s put some examples into perspective.

What are you grateful for about your hometown? – here you can talk about what is great about your hometown, what memories it holds, and what are your best places to go. You can also talk about emotions related to your hometown; how does it make you feel? Do you feel secure?

Write about 10 things in your home that bring you incredible joy. – you can write about anything; about your comfortable bed, about the colours of the walls, about the kitchen design or the layout. You can mention your outdoor living space and your plants.

What I also would like to say is that the beginning of each process is always the most difficult part. Once you get used to writing daily, you will feel much more relaxed and comfortable.
